We offer guidance and services throughout the breeding process from timing the cycle to whelping and everything in between. We also offer guidance with unplanned pregnancies.
Breeding Package
Breeding Package = One Cycle
Reproduction Consultation
1 visit included with package
First visit of each breeding cycle where we take a history, physical exam, and discuss expectations.
Breeding Management Exam
Unlimited included with package
Every visit after the consultation to maintain history, physical exams, and follow along through the breeding cycle.
Reproduction Record Fee
Unlimited included with package
Every visit; Obtaining, processing, and storing records.
Vaginal Cytology
Unlimited included with package
Every visit; To help estimate where in the breeding cycle the bitch is.
Vaginoscopy
1 included with package if needed
Only if needed. Can help time breedings, or look at the vagina more closely.
Luteinizing Hormone Assay (Witness LH Test)
Up to 2 included with package
Use to time ovulation in a bitch.
Semen Analysis/ Nucleocount
Per insemination included with package
Evaluation of semen concentration, motility and viability prior to breeding. All other stud services (e.g., semen collection) are not part of the package.
Trans-cervical Insemination
Up to 3 (if needed) included with package
Any of the artificial insemination techniques would be included. Monitoring a natural cover, is also included. Surgical inseminations carry additional fees.
Pregnancy Diagnosis (Ultrasound)
1 included with package
Pregnancy ultrasound is recommended for pregnancy diagnosis and assessment of the pregnancy. Fetal evaluation ultrasounds prior to c-section are not part of the package.
Pregnancy Diagnosis (Witness Relaxin Test)
1 included with package
Recommended to confirm placental activity when pregnancy has not been able to be confirmed by ultrasound.
Serum Progesterone Test, In house MiniVidas
Not included with package
Trends help establish ovulation times and whelping. Due to the high variability between individuals and the number of tests required during a breeding cycle this is not part of the package.
Fetal Count Radiographs
Not included with package
These are recommended for at-home whelping, but are not part of the package.
After Hours Access To DVM
As needed included with package
For emergencies from breeding to whelping.
Each of these services can be purchased separately. We highly reccommend the package if you are going to have multiple visits and TCI with us.
